  • Something New...

The kids and I made cookies on Friday night.  We had a blast icing them and making designs on them with kabob sticks.  The kids made such a huge mess though!  Emma had icing up one side of her face and down the other.  The table was covered in sprinkles and icing and there was cake batter all over the kitchen counter, but we had so much fun!  There are pictures of our mess on my FaceBook.

I've been playing Final Fantasy with Heath lately.  It's actually really fun!  We play mostly at night when the kids are sleeping and it's just the 2 of us.  We've been bonding...lol!

I don't really have a lot to say, I'll write more later.

Today was awesome day!  Heath and I have birthdays coming up soon and we got one of our presents today.  We each got BlackBerry storms!!!!!  They are amazing!  I love it so very much, if only Xanga went mobile.  Yeah, right!  Anyway, the kids are at Grandma's for the night, so we are just sitting here doing a whole lot of nothing.  Heath only played the Xbox for a few hours today too!  It's been an overall good day.

The weather was beautiful today.  Holly (my neighbor) and I took the kids on a walk to the store and back.  They had a blast riding in the wagon and getting treats at the store.  Emma and Jaden both got to play outside today in the leaves out back and with thier friends on the block.  They had so much fun.

Not a whole lot going on today other than that.

  • Emma's speech

Good Morning Xangaland!!!!  This morning was a typical morning in my house, except Heath got up with us and took Jaden to school, then he went to his parent's house to help his dad split wood.  He said he should be home around 2ish.  I'm glad that he's out doing stuff other than sitting in the house all day playing his video game on his days off.  The past couple days he played a good portion of the day, but we also did other stuff.  I'm not quite sure how to make him see how is gaming affects all of us.  It's so much more than just him playing a game.  He's setting an example for our kids, and I don't like the example he's setting.

Emma had her class yesterday.  She is doing so so so good!  She is vocalizing more words and she is making more consonate sounds and log vowel sounds.  She will repeat mostly anything you say that is one syllable and some things that are two syllable.  We were painting yesterday at school, and I asked her if she wanted the green paint or the yellow paint and she pointed to the yellow and said "lololo"!!  I was so proud of her!  All the teachers and other parents made a big deal about it and she got really excited.  She has been saying "Hi" and "Bye" a lot more lately too.  She can sound like a monkey, cow, dog and cat, and she will say "Hi Kitty" (it sounds more like Hiky) and she will roll her tongue to do the "kittykittykitty" sound.  She is doing so well and she is just goofy.  She loves painting and dancing and anything artsy really.  I think she is going to be creative like me =)  Definitely outgoing, never shy!  She told the Glamorousity lady bye on Wednesday and she told her Gramma bye last night.  She repeats absolutely everything her big brother does, even if he bumps his head or something and wants me to kiss it, she will come right behind him and want her head kissed too.  It's really cute to see how much they love each other.  I'm truly blessed when it comes to how well my kids get along (so far anyway).

I just sent my email to the director of Glamorousity so she can set up my personal website.  I can't wait to get started and make some money with this stuff.  Hopefully it works out.

Well, I'm going to do some dishes and clean the house up a bit before Daddy gets home.  Enjoy your day!!!

  • Glamorousity

I had a meeting yesterday with a girl named Amy.  She is a manager for Glamorousity.  They are a company that sells "Designer Inspired" purses.  Hopefully I can make something that will help out around here with some bills.  I know at first it won't be great money, but it will be something.  I will also have a website, so if you want something, just visit that.  It's not set up yet, but as soon as it is, I'll post it.  I'm really excited about it and I hope it turns out to be a good thing.

Well, I'm going to go to bed now.

    Good Night.

  • Somedays I get Frustrated...

While lying in bed this morning, I noticed my husband's hands.  Normally when you think of someone's hands, you don't usually think "sexy" right off the bat but there was just something about his hand next to mine that made me take a second look.  I studied his hand next to mine and noticed how much bigger it was, how overworked and rough it was, how much of a "man's hand" it was, and I got turned on.  Not really turned on sexually, but more like turned on that this man works his ass off to support our family on one income.  He goes to a job he hates 4 days a week to put clothes on our backs and a roof over our  heads and he does it alone.  I'm really lucky to have someone like him.  I've offered more than once or twice to get a job and he refuses.  He tells me to stay home, that I don't need to work yet.

Somedays I get frustrated with him because he likes to play the Xbox and some days I should be frustrated, but other times, it's underlying issues that surface when he plays.  Like this morning.  I'm overly tired today, everytime I sit down, my eyes start to close.  I've been cat-napping on and off all day long and it only makes me more tired.  I was up late last night though, so I figure that's why.

I have parent teacher conferences tonight with Jaden's teacher.  Hopefully we can figure something out as to why he's just watching what goes on around him instead of doing his work.  I hope we can figure something out for him.  After those, I have to come home, finish the house and then go to my Dennis Appointment.  After Dennis, I'm going grocery shopping.  I'm really excited about going shopping tonight, alone.  It's a stress reliever for me.  It's the one time a month I can go to the store and not worry about how much I'm spending.  I get to find stuff for the new recipes I got and try to make them this week or next.  One of them is a Sloppy Joe Gulash!  It sounds so so so good!

Well, I smell a poopy diaper, so I need to go change her.
